Happy Rooster Year to every year who is celebrating lunar new year ! Hope you have a prosperity and healthy year.

First of all , I would like to send my gratitude to all my family and relatives that gave me angpao. (Angpao is red packets filled with money , it's a tradition to give angpao to children to wish them a healthy year.) Secondly , I'm thankful for the all the cny biscuits.

To be honest , chinese new year so me is just another day to stay at home. I have very less relatives so I don't need to go to many houses to visit them. I mostly just stay at home doing what I usually do , watching dramas. I want to meet my friends but most of them are working even during cny and some of them have many of relatives , so they have to spend time with their relatives. And so , I'm left alone , bored.

I'm probably too bored to write this post lol. This blog post will definitely be boring like my life.

Today is the third day of cny , I went 拜年 , which is visiting. 拜年 for me is literally just changing places to watch tv and eat cny biscuits. I'm not even close with my relatives , all of them are my grandma's relatives so I have nothing to talk to them. And I can't understand their language , they talked in a different dialect but I only know how to speak chinese and some cantonese. The teenagers in my relatives house don't wanna bother me too. They're probably very close so they don't want me to join in their games. So , I have no choice to play with the kids. Luckily , the kids like me. I think I'm more popular in the kids side? I'm more comfortable with kids too.

I'm waiting for the eighth day of cny because I get to visit my primary teacher and meet with my primary classmates. Hopefully we will gather or hangout after we visit our teacher.

On the last day of cny , me and my few friends planned to go 抛柑. It's an event when girls throw mandarin oranges 🍊  into the river with writings of their phone number or social media and guys collect them. It's an event to meet new people or even meet a partner for life. However , it's also quite dangerous too because you won't know , any evil people will use this chance to do bad things.

As for cny movies , I wanted to watch 功夫瑜伽 kungfu yoga and 西游2 journey to the west 2.
Kungfu Yoga is a movie starring by Chen Long , Li Zhi Ting , Lay and more. From the trailer , I guess it's a lame and funny cny movie. Plus , lay from EXO is one of the cast , so I'm very excited to see that movie.
Journey To The West 2 is a movie directed by the famous 周星驰. And Kris Wu is one of the main actor in this movie ! I always love 周星驰's movie because his movies were all very funny and has a great moral value in it. I'm anticipating to have a great laugh while I'm watching the movie.

During cny , you can always see many pretty / handsome ootds in instagram and fb. It saddens me to see many younger generations wore black shirt or black outfit during the first day of cny. As the elderlies said , we should wear red or at least pink or orange (bright colours) on the first day of cny because it represents prosper. As for black , it means unfortunate or bad luck for them. I will always wear a red cheongsam on the first day when I was little but as I grow older , I only wear red dresses or skirts. This year , when I was scrolling my social medias , I noticed a lot of young people were wearing black. I just feel like we should at least respect the elders by simply wearing a red clothing during the first day of cny. But that's just my mere opinion , I have no offence to anybody wearing black.

It was my 18th birthday yesterday (20th of January) . I was my first birthday without going to school and to be honest , it was quite lonely. Two of my friends same the same birthday with me , so we planned to go out for dinner yesterday.

Lets not talk about dinner first. My sister woke me up in the morning and it surprised me when I opened my bed room door. My sister prepared balloons for me !

She prepared 7 balloons because 7 is my favourite number HAHA. After the surprise  , she brought me out for lunch. We went to a new korean restaurant in Ipoh , called Doma.

As a not artistic person , I kept on figuring what the picture means lol. I only figured it out after I asked my sister because she's quite an artistic person. The food in Doma is really good. Their bingsu is very yummy. I never tried bingsu before so that was my first time. We ordered tokpokki and fried chicken too. Both were very good. 👍🏻

Next , I went to meet a friend to give her the concert money. She's literally an artist ! She's very good at drawing. I remembered I asked her to draw me something like typography for my birthday. I never thought she remembered cause I've forgotten it too. The small cards are so pretty 😍 I always love these handmade gifts so I'm very grateful for these. Thanks koo 😘

It's finally dinner time ! Me and my friends who share the same birthday invited three more best friends for dinner at David's Diner. It was a nice place. I ordered the lamb steak. In my opinion , the lamb there was not the best but it was ok too. I realised that many people share the same birthday with us. About 4 tables in David's Diner was there to celebrate birthdays too.

It's second day of 2017 already. I planned to write this post on the first day of 2017 but I was sick af.

Let's talk about 2016 first.

It's a really fun and tiring year for me. It's my year of sitting for the SPM. It's a big exam in Malaysia. Starting of the year , my friends threw a small birthday party for me in class. They brought a big boo boo bear to school for me but i didn't notice until they gave it to me. 😂  I didn't expect them to celebrate with me since it's the starting of a hectic school year. I'm glad to have these bunch of friends. ❤️  xbyxz I love you.

Next , there were many trips to colleges in 2016 because we are seniors and we have to go to college the next year. It's fun to travel with friends on buses and wearing the same school tshirt. The trips were indeed a great memory.

2016 is also the year my favourite teacher is retiring. She's a great physics teacher and a kind handball teacher adviser. She's a nice old lady who always nags at me when I don't pay attention in class. However , I appreciate her nags because without it , I won't understand a thing about physics. Since she's no more in school , my second year of physics was taught by a young male teacher. He didn't care whether I listened or not. That's the year my physics result starting to drop. But I still study hard on my own and hoping my SPM result won't be bad because I do not wish to dissappoint my favourite old physics teacher.

Let's fast forward to our school's sports day and graduation night.
It's my last year marching for green house in sports day. I'm glad that we got 2nd place. I'm always proud to become a marching girl for green house and I will still be proud. I love green. 💚
Before graduation night , each class had to think of a performance to perform during that night. Our class is the least students class but I think our class is not always together. Some of my classmates are a bit selfish and self-centered. Since form4 , I've always dreamt of having the whole class to be on stage and perform together. However , my dream did not come true. Only half of us performed that night. It's still a wonderful night tho. We get to dressed up and put on make up and wear high heels. Wearing high heels were very tiring and painful tho HAHA. The only regret I had that night is not having the chance to take a complete class photo.

We went to BOH Tea Farm and many flower gardens. I love it. However , it's too cold for me. I never expect Cameron to be that cold , so I just brought tshirt and shorts and a jacket. It was so cold I was literally freezing and shaking throughout the whole trip.

I was back in my own town in new year's eve. Originally , my group of friends planned to go countdown for 2017 together. But the plan failed again , as usual. Therefore , I asked my best friend whether she was free that night and drag her out to go countdown with me. Despite her having to work early in the morning , she's still willing to accompany me to go see the fireworks and countdown together. That's what best friends for , right? ☺️💕

The fireworks was amazing ! I always love fireworks. After the countdown , we went home and the next day , 1st of January 2017 , I was sick. 😷  I stayed in bed the whole day , sneezing and coughing. I am okay now! 😅

For 2017 ,

I hope I can go to a good college and study a course I really like. I also hope that my SPM result is good (Full As please). I really wish my group of friends will have a gathering soon because it's really a long time since we last meet. This year , I wish my year is still as awesome as the previous years. Although there will be ups and downs , I still hope that this year will go smooth and steady. What's your wishes for 2017? Comment down below !
